W|N Participates In Year-End Donation to the Utah Food Bank Services and the Utah Road Home

As part of its annual year-end campaign to support local charitable organizations, employees of W|N mounted a successful food drive that resulted in donating 614 pounds of food to the Utah Food Bank Services. A recent study by the Utah Food Bank and Feeding America reported that 245,100 people, 42% of whom are children, receive emergency food each year through the Utah Food Bank. Representatives from Utah Food Bank reported to Julie Ferrin, W|N's event coordinator, that W|N's donation was among the largest received last year.

W|N also donated hundreds of dollars of clothing and other items to the Utah Road Home, a facility for the homeless. Founded in 1923 as the Travelers Aid Society, with a purpose of assisting stranded travelers, unescorted and runaway youth and other disconnected persons, today the Utah Road Home seeks to expand recognition of the inherent dignity of those who live in poverty and homelessness, and seeks to assist the homeless in moving from cold streets into warm housing, and from despair and alienation toward hope and inclusion. (For information on how to support either of these organizations, visit www.theroadhome.org or www.utahfoodbank.org).

Based in Salt Lake City, W|N has earned recognition as one of the top patent prosecution and intellectual property litigation firms in the nation. The firm represents a wide array of clients in all areas of intellectual property law, including patent, trademark, copyright, unfair competition, and related litigation and licensing.
